Build the confidence to take the first steps as a traveling family
Investment: All sessions billed at $75/hr
How We Work Together
Travel with an autistic child isn’t something you can fully script in advance.
Instead of trying to eliminate uncertainty, we focus on helping you move through it—so you can stay connected to your child, even when things don’t go as planned.
Option 1: Travel Clarity Session
When everything feels overwhelming and you don’t know where to start.
This is a grounding session to help you sort through what feels confusing or heavy about travel.
We look at:
-
What specifically feels hardest about traveling with your child right now
-
Where home patterns may not predict travel behavior as closely as you expect
-
What actually needs support versus what might be more flexible than it seems
You’ll leave with:
-
A clearer sense of direction
-
A more realistic understanding of your child in travel contexts
-
Relief from trying to hold everything at once
Option 2: Travel Strategy & Brainstorming Session
When you want to plan, but not lock yourself into something rigid.
This is where we explore what travel could actually look like for your family in a flexible, real-world way.
We might walk through:
-
Destination ideas based on your child’s interests and regulation patterns
-
What kinds of environments (urban, resort, nature, etc.) tend to be more supportive or more challenging
-
How pacing, transitions, and downtime might realistically work
-
Where to build in flexibility so the trip can shift as needed
You’re not trying to build the “perfect itinerary.”
You’re building a structure that can hold real life.
Option 3: Real-Life Travel Support (Pre-Trip or In-Motion)
When you want to feel steadier about what might actually happen.
This session is for anticipating the lived experience of travel—not just the plan.
We talk through things like:
-
Airports, hotels, and transitions—and how your child might respond in the moment
-
What dysregulation or overwhelm might look like away from home
-
How to respond without escalating stress or abandoning the trip entirely
-
Simple ways to reset and reconnect when things go off-track
The goal isn’t control.
It’s knowing you can stay present and responsive when things shift.
Why This Is Different
This isn’t full-service planning.
I don’t build itineraries or manage bookings for you.
This is coaching designed to help you:
-
Think more clearly about your child in unfamiliar environments
-
Make flexible, grounded decisions while traveling
-
Respond in real time instead of trying to prevent every possible challenge
A Final Note
We don’t plan perfect trips. We help you stay connected through real ones.
